Quality workmanship, combined with the willingness to listen and respond to a customer’s needs and desires, is the premise on which International Custom Built Homes, Inc. in Allentown, Pennsylvania has been building homes since 1969. A family run business, International offers a unique blend of extensive construction experience with quality materials to produce the finest homes available.
International works with a reliable team of employees and subcontractors, some who have been with the company for over 40 years. The company has constructed more than 3,000 homes, ranging from $150,000 to $1,000,000, and has completed 15 subdivisions. Style and practicality are incorporated into each home in their repertoire of proven floor plans. In addition, custom designs and individual modifications are always welcome.
During the early 80’s, the family took on a new perspective. Committing themselves to their Christian faith, they reordered the company’s priorities making Christian principles the foundation of their business practices. Those values are demonstrated in the company’s commitment to its customers through honesty and integrity. They hope their customers can see a heart attitude that is different.
What is the real measure of success? Longevity speaks for itself, i.e., the company is continuing to build quality homes that people appreciate. However, during the past several years, two unanticipated trends have occurred that reflect this approach to doing business. The first is that ICBH has begun building homes for second-generation customers. Children who grew up in an International home built in the 70’s and 80’s are now choosing to build their own International home. This shows an endorsement of confidence and trust in the company. The second event is that International has built second and third homes for some of its customers. Such positive response from customers about doing repeat business make a profound statement about the kind of homes the company builds.
Special thanks to all those who are proud of their new home and have volunteered to show it to potential customers who are considering the same. Thanks also to those who have shown their gratitude to our workers by preparing veal and eggplant parmigiana, chocolate cake, wine, etc. for all to enjoy. We appreciate your appreciation.
Except the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Psalm 127:1
